2010 - Their Colheita (single vintage) Tawny is aged for nine years in a combination of massive wooden vats and smaller pipas. Combined, these steps allow more of the terroir to shine and produce some remarkable Ports. This 2010 Colheita Tawny is spicy and intense with musky purple fruit and vibrant acidity. The wine is impeccably balanced and dangerously drinkable. A winner with aged cheese, especially blue, but also for an indulgent tipple on a cold winter night.
