The Guibert family of Mas de Daumas Gassac collaborated with the local cooperative in Sète back in the 90s to create a new selection of wines. They searched the natural amphitheater of hillside vineyards in the Languedoc region to find the best vineyard sites for sourcing their fruit. The result is the 2022 Moulin de Gassac Pinot Noir, a beautiful French Pinot with a brilliant ruby color in the glass. It boasts delightful aromas of fresh cherry, cranberry, and raspberry fruits, followed by subtle hints of spice, violets, and toast. The wine is dry and well-balanced, with focused red berry flavors throughout and a savory acidity.
