Finn's Six-pack Wine-pick (6/3)
Following up on last week's successful wine-pack, we've thrown together another selection of wines, curated by our wine aficionado, Finn. This week's wines are:
Manos Andinas Sauvignon Blanc - 2017. Chilean, Casablanca Valley region. Grassy, and delicately fruity. Perfectly clean finish. Pair with a nice goat cheese or a fresh from the garden salad.
Acrobat Pinot Gris - 2017. Oregonian, Willamette region. Light, with fresh aromas of melon and ruby grapefruit. A delightfully refreshing wine. Pair with seared or grilled fish.
Moris Farms Rosamundi Rosé - 2019. Italian, Tuscany region. Plush, ripe, and full of berries. A dry, vibrant finish, that makes you want to drink more! Pair with hors d'oeuvres, or a seafood pasta.
Oveja Negra Cabernet Franc/Carmenere - 2018. Chilean, Maule Valley region. Pleasant black berry notes on the nose. Smooth and juicy, with nice dry tannins. Pair with braised pork chops or a burger.
Seven Falls Merlot - 2015. Washingtonian, Columbia Valley region. Ripe cherry and wild raspberry burst in the glass. Well rounded texture with smooth tannins, easy drinking red wine. Pair with a roast and some blue cheese.
Meiomi Pinot Noir - 2016. Californian, Sonoma region. Ripe nose, with hints of vanilla and cranberries. Extremely balanced wine, with some sweet oak on the tail end. Pair with a whole roasted chicken.
