2018 - Domaine la Serre Picpoul de Pinet comes from a good, ripe growing season in the Languedoc. The wine displays a white, green tinged color with silvery shimmer on the rim. It has summery, bright aromas of grapefruit, lime zest, lemon, white flower and wet minerals. It features a zingy approach on the tip of the tongue that fills out with citrusy flavors, mineraly and bone dry finish. It's the perfect wine to put in a deep chill for a cold glass on a warm summer afternoon. On the table it demands a plate of fresh seafood, shellfish platter, or if you find the time make up the French specialty of Croquettes de brandade.
