El Jefe (Grande) Tempranillo

2024 - The El Jefe (Grande) Tempranillo has a pretty ruby red robe color when poured into the glass.  The fruit is crushed, fermented and aged in breathable concrete tanks to allow the natural aromas to develop and the pour forth with pure, fresh aromas of bing cherry, fresh fig, raspberries, red plum and dried herbs.  Silky soft tannins surround a palate blanket of red berry fruits and supple (gulpable) finish.  This wine is a party in a bottle with enough to share.  Slipping in at under 13% alcohol, it makes for a great wine with tomato sauces, lasagna, pizza, meatballs to hamburgers, or drunken goat cheese.
