Guelbenzu Ribera del Queilles Azul

The grapes for the Guelbenzu Ribera del Queilles Azul are grown in the Ribera del Queilles of the Navarra region, Spain.  This heady red spent nine months in a mix of american and french oak barrels which have helped deliver the deep chocolatey, spicy, suede notes you will love.  It has well developed notes of blackberries, mulberries, fig, ripe plum fruits, followed by vanilla oak notes.  Leathery, dry tannins frame the dark berries and powerful mid palate that concludes with an earthy, peppery finish.  Pair it up with a big glass or with Argentine Churrasco, South African Braai or Aussie "Barbie".
