2019 - Via Revolucionaria La Criolla Grande is made of 100% organically grown La Criolla Grande, an indigenous variety that is similar to Pais in Chile.  The fruit is hand harvested from the small 6 acre Campo Vidal vineyard at 3,450ft of elevation in Tupungato, Uco Valley, Mendoza.  The wine is produced in concrete eggs and lees aged on the skins for 5 months.   This is a summery red with a light cranberry garnet color.  The nose is dominated with fresh red berry aromatics of raspberry, red watermelon and nectarine.  Light bodied, juicy red berry fruits, vibrant with a delicate finish.  This is a true artistic expression from a wonderful winemaker, a wine to satiate your bohemian side.  Pair it up with a mix of tapas, barbecue shrimp salad or ahi sashimi.
