2017 - A well structured nose of blackberry, black cherry, currant, plum, backed by notes of chocolate, pencil lead, minerals and tobacco leaf. The structure of this great value Cab continues on the palate without being too heavy handed with a tasty mix of red and black berry fruits, spices and developed dry tannins. It shows nicely in the glass for pairing up with a grilled NY Strip steak, elk and venison, or put it next to aged hard cheeses.--Finn
