The Big Red Monster Cabernet Sauvignon exudes true-to-form Paso Robles richness and bold intensity. When poured into the glass, it bursts forth with squid ink-like opaqueness and a lovely plush purple color. As you’d expect, the wine features a bold, lush snoot-full of blueberry, cassis, black plum, licorice, dark chocolate and spice.  The boldness carries through to the palate which is loaded in black cherry, kirsch liqueur, black currant and a visceral mid-palate ending with a long juicy finish.  This is your showy, big gun party wine that loves a good smoky barbecue, herb roasted short ribs to slow roasted sucking pig.
