Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant

The 2022 is a thoroughly southern Rhone blend with a very bright red robe to the color when poured into the glass. You’ll enjoy the fleshy upfront aromas of cherry, red currants, raspberry, plum, blueberry with a light peppery spice and mint leaf.  The wine is back to having a lovely savory palate with fresh fruit acidity, supple tannins, a note of licorice and welcome plush finish.  This is a nice glass pour that will also pair well with a cassoulet, pork root vegetable roulade, pheasant or sloppy Joe's.
