The 2020 Einaudi Dolcetto d'Dogliani is a spectacular wine and proves to be, as always, undervalued from vintage to vintage. All the Dolcetto grapes for this wine come from their 29 hectares of vines in Dogliani. The wine has an excellent ruby red hue to the wine with a slightly opaque quality. It is meant to be fresh in style and delivers beautiful aromas of black cherry, pomegranate, blackberry, plum fruits with notes of green sage, spice and violet. It has a classic mix of pleasant red berry fruits, green earthy spice and supple finish. This wine is a sure winner for roasted game bird, wild mushroom and rice pilaf, grilled squash or bone-in pork chops.
