Emilio Moro Finca Resalso Tempranillo

The 2019 Emilio Moro Finca Resalso is 100% Tempranillo and aged in French barrels for 4 months before bottling.  This is a fresh, inky style of Tempranillo with a dark, opaque red robe in the glass.  It has a rich nose of visceral red plum, black currant, black berry & black cherry fruits woven between layers of spice and oak.  The palate is dense and deeply flavorful with black berry fruits, mixed baking spices and a lively core of acidity that wraps things up with a warm finish.  This is a wine that can throw its muscle around the grill, so pair it up with smoky barbecued meats, blackened steak tips, Chipotle rubbed chicken or rich tomato ragu.
