The purest sense of the Northern Rhone comes out in this Syrah, grown on granitic sand soils with a nearly perfect season. Aromatic with violets, red/blue fruits, exotic spices, licorice and bitter chocolate. The wine turns on the charm on the palate, balanced with layers and depth.--Finn
