Join Barriques and winemaker Cristina Gonzales for an exclusive virtual tasting of wines from Oregon's Gonzales Wine Co. on Friday, April 21st @ 6pm.

"Cristina's passion for wine began while traveling as a backpacker through South America in 2001. A luscious Argentinian steak paired with the perfect Malbec transformed Cristina's appreciation for pairing wine with food and community. When she returned home, Cristina embarked on several years of harvest-hopping and working in the wine industry before establishing her own label."-Gonzales Wine Co

You can read more about the Gonzales Wine Co here.

The tasting pack for this virtual event will include:

2019 Gonzales Cecchini Vineyard Malbec -

Lighter and brighter and more food friendly, with low alcohol, complex aromas and refreshing textures. Rustic and delicious.
2021 Gonzales Columbia Valley Riesling - Columbia Valley grapes giving apple blossom and clover honey. White peach and meringue show up lighter bodies than expected with a well rounded mouth water acidity finish.
2021 The Revolutionary Rosé  - Harvested at night and hand sorted, 'fresh' is the operative word for this pinot.  It is dripping in an excellent balance of cherry, strawberry, licorice, and fresh pepper.

Bonus Bottle Available:  2020 The Revolutionary Petit Verdot -

Cristina Gonzales ignites your inner revolutionary. Inspired by Emiliano Zapata’s fight for community & justice, this wine is dedicated to her young son, Emiliano Julian’s future education. Luscious & Limited.
