2017 - This is from a 10-acre parcel of Kimmeridgian chalk and stones called "teres blanches," where 35-year-old vines deliver a wine of brilliant ripeness and uncompromizing verve and drive - so much so that the wine releases two years after most Sancerre. Serves of oodles of white stone fruit and yellow/green citrus fruit with a hint of fresh herb and lots of smoky flint that really lingers on the long, penetrating, finish. Just outstanding Sauvignon Blanc.
