2018 - Pecorari Pinot Grigio is a smaller production with under 5,000 cases annually. The grapes are harvested, pressed and aged on their fine lees for 7 months with frequent battonage to provide more depth and body. This wine is very bright white with a rose gold colored rim in the glass. It features vibrant, very exuberant aromas of citrus, green pear, white flower and minerals. The wine displays a delicate, lively mouthfeel that is citrusy, crisp, clean and dry with a savory texture. This is a Mediterranean seafood special wine and great with Branzino baked w/ rosemary and lemon, crab cakes, stone crab claws or a pear goat cheese salad.
