More akin to a classic Provencal rose, the Summer Water Rose is composed of 85% Grenache w/ 15% Syrah in the blend. The grapes are brought in to be pressed immediately to minimize skin extraction for a pale pink color. They capture the exquisite aromas of white peach, citrus blossom, watermelon and roses. A beautifully delicate wine that dances across the palate with subtle nuances that reveal themselves with each sip. This is a wine to just stop, sip and enjoy the outdoors with, yet if you want to pair it up with food then a mild goat cheese salad, chilled raw shellfish platter or broiled walleye.
