Alcyone is the combination of two different Italian techniques for dessert wines, the Barolo chinato and the Marsala, creating a new one that produce a unique wine. This wine is aromatized with different roots and herbs like Marsala and Barolo chinato and fortified with brandy. The base wine was aged for several years in French oak barrels.  Stellar!
