Hiatus Vinha da Lage Vinho Verde

We always love discovering wines that ‘hit above their pay grade’ and over deliver at such a great value.  In the glass, the Vinha da Lage Vinho Verde displays a bright white gold color with a iridescent green tinge to the rim.  Vibrancy is the word that best describes this wine, first in the nose with lemon/lime, grapefruit, citrus blossom aromas and then carrying through to the palate with crisp, minerally fruits and a mouthwatering citrusy finish.  It is a lovely wine to drink by the glass and is purpose-built for being paired with seafood ceviche, tropical fruit salad, baked black cod or thinly sliced jamon.
