The 2019 Zuani Pinot Grigio Sodevo is hand picked, destemmed, gently pressed, fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aged on its lees for 5 months.  The clarity is nearly flawless in the glass with its bright golden color.  In the nose you immediately appreciate the focus of this wine with its intensity, delivering golden apple, pear, citrus aromas layered with crunchy minerality.  The wine instantly delivers a gratifying, mouthwatering fresh minerality with tangy citrus, richer body from the lees aging and long finish.  This powerhouse of a Pinot Grigio is a treat just to sip, yet the Italians demand a great meal with their wines, so pair it up with fresh grilled black cod in a miso glaze, wild mushroom risotto or a garden fresh golden beet canederli.  Enjoy!
